Andy Sutton is a nationally recognized tennis coach and leader in racquet sports development, currently serving as the Executive Racquets Director for Premier Racquet Clubs. With over three decades of coaching experience, Andy has built a reputation for delivering high-performance training programs that foster technical excellence, tactical intelligence, and personal growth in players of all levels.  He is among a handful of coaches nationally who hold both a Tennis Canada Coach 3 and OTA Club Professional 3 designation.

A respected educator and mentor, Andy was the recipient of the 2012 Course Facilitator Excellence Award, recognizing his outstanding contributions to tennis coach education in Canada. In 2025, he was honored with the Club Professional Excellence Award, celebrating his commitment to innovation, leadership, and excellence within club environments.

Known for his strategic vision and passion for athlete and coach development, Andy continues to elevate racquet programming at Premier Racquet Clubs through a holistic approach that combines on-court performance, unparalleled vision, and a culture of excellence.

Jean-François Danican

Francois is a Tennis Canada level 3 coach, GPTCA certified and PTR Professional.

Francois has over 25 years of coaching experience, starting as a High performance coach at Van der Meer academy in Hilton Head, Saddlebrook in Tampa, Florida and the Head Coach in Al Wasl Club (Dubai).

He is also the co-founder and director at Emirates Tennis Academy (Dubai) before joining the Ontario Racquet Club in 2019. He has worked with numerous top 200 ITF juniors and over 15 ATP Tour/WTA players.

Francois is also the former coach of Australian top 40 ATP player Alexei Poperyn. François has traveled all over the world playing, coaching, and attending seminars. He was a multiple junior champion from Guadeloupe. No.10 in the nation in NCAA D2 and twice the MVP of the South Atlantic Conference.

Finally he was the team captain in College and he was also part of the 4 time all-conference team.

Passionate and dedicated to improving the level of tennis in Canada, he has led many students to national titles. Welcome to the PRC family, Francois.

Brian Ma
Tennis Professional

Brian is a Tennis Canada CP1 coach, CAC certified and has completed years of courses, seminars and conferences (Tennis Canada, ITF, RPT and more).

He has been coaching all levels of players from beginners to high performance seniors, wheelchair players, and junior players (rookies to National Champions) for over 30 years. In 2019 he received an Excellence Award from Tennis Canada for coaching a National Champion.

Brian is a skilled development coach, stressing technical and tactical elements in his players to make sure they have a sound foundation.  He specializes in helping players compete better by developing mental skills and coping mechanisms to allow players to deal with pressure in the most demanding tournament environments at all levels.

Dan Piedra
Pickleball Professional

Dan is a lifelong participant of racquet sports having taken up tennis at 10 years of age. While attending university at Brigham Young University, Utah, he became involved in other racquet sports including badminton and racquetball. After returning to Ontario and beginning his career in post-secondary education, he returned to playing tennis, but took up squash which he continues to play today. 

Since many of these sports were limited in access during the 2020 pandemic, he found himself looking for opportunities to get involved in outdoor sports. As such, he began playing pickleball in the Fall of 2020. Since then, he has played with and connected with associations and the pickleball community in Burlington, Hamilton, Etobicoke, and in Milton. 

Dan has always participated in instructional aspects of tennis and squash and enjoys helping others learn the game of pickleball having obtained his Instructor Levels I and II certifications. He also served as vice-president within Milton Pickleball Association.

Kevin Grela

Kevin is an experienced tennis coach with 13 years in the field.  Holding a Club Pro 2 certification and actively pursuing his Coach 2 certification, Kevin is dedicated to developing his coaching skills.  In his previous role at Ontario Racquet Club, he played a key role leading a junior academy program. Kevin excels as a team player, contributing positively to both individual and group achievements. Kevin is driven by witnessing the success of his students, and his coaching style is characterized by a meticulous attention to detail, passionate dedication, and perseverance.

Patrick Trivett
Tennis / Pickleball Professional

Patrick is a TPA Certified Tennis and Pickleball coach with a Club Pro 1 Certification in Tennis and an Instructor 2 Certification in Pickleball. Patrick comes from a very successful tennis family with a true passion for the game and is looking forward to passing on that knowledge to new generations of tennis players.While helping players learn and get better, he is a huge believer of helping his students have fun each session and enjoying the sport for the beautiful game it is. Patrick is also a coach at Halton Hills Tennis Club in the summer. Patrick was an OTA player in his youth and still loves to play competitively to this day. Patrick Teaches Tennis at both the Brampton and Mississauga locations as well as Pickleball at Mississauga.

Petya Marinova
Tennis Professional

Petya enjoyed a highly successful junior career, achieving a #1 ranking in Canada for both U14 and U18 and earning 5 national titles in singles and doubles. On the Junior ITF circuit, Petya reached a world ranking of #62 and competed in the Australian Open, French Open, and U.S. Open Junior Grand Slams. After a brief professional stint on the WTA Tour, where she ranked as high as #746, Petya accepted a full athletic scholarship to UCLA. She graduated with a double major in Sociology and African-American History, earned two All-American honors, and concluded her university career as part of the #2 ranked doubles team in the nation. Her extensive playing experience laid the foundation for a successful coaching career.

Petya is a fully certified Tennis Canada Coach 3 and an Ontario Course Facilitator and has been involved with tennis for over 30 years. Currently in the summer, she is the Tennis Director and Head Tennis Professional at Credit Valley Tennis Club.

Petya is passionate about the sport and strongly believes that every person is capable and able to surpass their own expectations. Petya has worked with people of all ages and levels. She truly enjoys coaching tennis and believes tennis is not only a great sport but an amazing vessel in developing well rounded individuals off the court as well.  Petya takes pride in helping players and coaches unlock their full potential while building lasting memories and friendships along the way.

Chloé Ghemtio

Chloé is a dedicated tennis instructor who works with players of all levels—from beginners to competitive juniors—offering a player-focused approach shaped by international experience and academic insight.

Originally from France, Chloé spent her junior career training in Finland with the Finnish National Team, competing in top-tier European events such as Les Petits As, and earning a Top 300 Tennis Europe ranking. She won multiple Finnish National Open titles, competed on the ITF Junior Circuit, and claimed titles on the Ten-Pro Global Junior Tour.

Currently a student at the University of Toronto studying sports psychology, Chloé integrates mental performance principles into her coaching to help athletes build confidence, discipline, and resilience. She began coaching at the Aliassime Tennis Academy in 2023 and now coaches at both the University of Toronto Tennis Club and Premier Racquet Club.

Robert Kpodo

Professional Tennis Coach & Former Competitive Player Robert Kpodo is an TPA-certified tennis coach with extensive competitive experience at international levels. Since beginning his tennis journey at 14, he went on to became 1 player in Ghana has competed in Davis Cup, Nations Cup, All Africa Games, and ITF junior tournaments, while also playing in European tennis leagues. Robert has served as a practice partner to ATP and WTA tour professionals, including former world No. 1 Serena Williams and ATP veteran Fabio Fognini. Worked with Tennis Stradella in Italy. This elite-level experience provides him with unique insights into professional training methods and competitive strategies. Coaching Services with his Tennis Canada coaching certification and competitive background, Robert offers tennis instruction for all skill levels.  He provides both individual lessons and group coaching, and serves as a hitting partner for players seeking consistent, high-quality practice. Mission Robert is committed to contributing to tennis development in Canada, leveraging his international experience and coaching expertise to create supportive environments for aspiring players at all levels.

Christian Lakoseljac 
Tennis Professional

Christian achieved great success throughout his career. He was selected to be a member of Canada's Junior Davis Cup team, winning multiple Selection, Provincial, National, and ITF Junior titles. Most notably, winning the Orange Bowl and the U18 Canadian National Championship. He went on to play Division 1 tennis at Penn State University, where he competed at line 1 singles and doubles. He achieved a career high ranking of #18 and received First Team All Big Ten Conference honours. He was named team captain for 2 years and competed in prestigious tournaments such as the NCAA Tournament and the All-American Championships. 

He went on to graduate with an undergraduate degree in Journalism from the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications, as well as a Master's Degree in International Affairs from Penn State's School of International Affairs. Following his success in college, Christian went on to compete on the ATP Tour, where he was a 2-time Future finalist and competitor in the Masters 1000 in Toronto. Additionally, Christian achieved an impressive career-high UTR rating of 14.2. Prior to joining PRC, Christian has 3 years of high-performance coaching with Mission Elite Performance. 

Christian is highly passionate about tennis and the intricacies of the game. He brings this passion and high-level understanding to the court every day. Not only to develop their game but also to ensure they are becoming multi-talented individuals off the court as well. Christian takes a communicative approach to seek achievable goals and long-term development.

Rachel Krzyzak 
Tennis Professional

Rachel Krzyzak is a former national champion and accomplished NCAA Division I athlete, bringing a deep competitive background and a passion for player development to her coaching at Premier Racquet Clubs. Throughout her junior career, Rachel captured a total of eight Ontario Provincial titles—five in singles and three in doubles. On the national stage, she captured four Canadian National titles—including U12 and U16 singles as well as U12 and U14 doubles. She held the #1 national ranking in Canada for both U12 and U14 divisions. Internationally, Rachel earned an ITF singles and doubles title and proudly represented Team Canada at the U14 World Junior Championships. She also represented Team Ontario at the Canada Games.

Rachel continued her tennis journey, competing for the University of Mississippi on a full athletic scholarship from 2021–2025. During her collegiate career, she amassed over 50 singles victories, qualified for the NCAA Team Championships, and was recognized for her leadership and consistency both on and off the court. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Health Science, along with a minor in Communication Science and Disorders.

Before joining PRC, Rachel gained four years of coaching experience at Milton Tennis Club, where she worked with players of all ages and levels. Rachel is dedicated to helping players reach their full potential by sharing her technical and tactical experience developed over her many years of competing. Now an instructor, she is pursuing her Club Pro 2 certification to enhance her coaching expertise further.
