5 – 7 YRS old – Recreational Red Ball Program

This critical stage of development is presented in a style where fun is emphasized. Players use scaled down equipment to have lots of fun with mini nets and easy play balls. This program helps develop hand /eye coordination and racquet/ball skills through relevant games with the goal of getting the players to a level where they can sustain a beginner rally. An ideal start for the 5-7 year old player. Classes are 1hr long and 1 time per week

8 – 10 YRS old – Orange Ball Program

The 3/4 court stage is very important in player development. This stage of progressive development is where players develop tactics and the associated technical skills to play and develop a full game. The court dimensions are adjusted to be smaller but with a similar ratio as the full court.  This step helps ensure the development of an adaptable game style.  The key is to develop the same tactics as full court with no “red flags” so the player can develop a solid game with no technical deficiencies. Classes are 1hr long and 1 time per week.

For all instructional Junior Programs:

Missed Classes - In the event, Premier Racquet Club (PRC) cancels a class or closes the club due to inclement weather, a credit will be issued to the player.  However, if a player misses classes due to personal reasons (e.g. vacation, illness, other sports), unfortunately there will be no refund or credit offered. We try to find a makeup class but no guarantee.

Withdrawing From Registered Programs - Players may withdraw before the 2nd class has started. After the 2nd class has started, there are no refunds/credits.

Withdrawing Due to Major Illness/Injury - Should a player have a major illness/injury so they are physically unable to participate in lessons, they can submit a request for withdrawal due to illness (with medical note from a doctor) to the Club Manager.  The request must be submitted in a timely manner as the refund will be from the date of the request and a $25 administration fee will be deducted.
